Don't Memorize Question Answers
One of the biggest mistakes students can make is memorizing the answer to a question without understanding the underlying concept.
A question bank may contain a particular clinical scenario, but the actual examination can test the same concept in a completely different presentation.
Instead of remembering:
“The answer to this question is option X.”
Learn:
“This clinical finding occurs because of this underlying mechanism.”
That knowledge can then be applied to different scenarios.
