The Rise of AI Video: What Creators Need to Know

If an AI-generated avatar or synthetic voice could cause viewers to believe that something was recorded traditionally, appropriate disclosure may be necessary depending on the context and applicable rules.

AI Video vs Traditional Video Production

Traditional video production still has important advantages.

Professional filming provides precise control over actors, lighting, locations, cinematography, and physical products.

AI video is often strongest when the goal is speed, experimentation, personalization, or scalable content production.

For many creators, the future won't be AI versus traditional video.

Instead, the two approaches can work together.

A creator might use traditional filming for major campaigns while using AI for social media variations, product videos, quick explainers, and creative experiments.

How to Get Better Results With AI Video

Creators can improve their results by treating AI video as a creative workflow rather than a one-click solution.

Start With the Audience

Know who the video is for before writing the prompt or script.
