Doll Prams and Pushchairs | Fun Guide for Kids

These simple actions can give children opportunities to practise coordination while playing.

Younger children may need some time to become comfortable with steering and controlling the pram.

Encourages Active Play

A doll pram can encourage children to move around rather than staying in one place.

They can walk around the home with their doll or use the pram during outdoor play where appropriate.

This can turn pretend play into an active experience.

Builds Storytelling Skills

Dolls and accessories can help children create stories.

A pushchair gives them another object to include in those stories.

They can decide where the doll is going, what happens during the journey and what happens when they arrive.

Over time, these games can become more detailed as children add new ideas.
