Best Golf Shoes for Wide Feet: Comfort, Stability, and the Right Fit

A well-fitting golf shoe should feel comfortable when standing, walking, and taking your golf stance.

Use this checklist when trying on a new pair:

• Your toes have enough room to move without touching the sides of the shoe.
• There is adequate space in front of your longest toe.
• Your forefoot does not feel pinched when you bend your knees or shift your weight.
• Your heel stays secure while walking.
• The upper does not press uncomfortably against your instep.
• The sole feels stable during a gentle practice swing.

Try shoes on later in the day if your feet tend to swell. Measure both feet, and choose a fit that accommodates the larger foot without allowing excessive movement.

If you experience persistent pain, numbness, or pressure marks, reconsider the fit rather than assuming the shoes will become comfortable with continued use.
