The policy is designed to give travelers flexibility while maintaining safety and efficiency. 

Carry-On Baggage Policy

Passengers are permitted to bring one cabin bag and one personal accessory on board:

  • Economy Class:

    • Cabin Bag: Maximum weight of 10 kg; dimensions not exceeding 55 x 40 x 25 cm.

    • Accessory: Items like handbags or laptops, up to 2 kg, with dimensions not exceeding 40 x 30 x 15 cm.

  • Business Class:

    • Cabin Bag: Maximum weight of 12 kg; same dimension limits as Economy.

    • Accessory: Same as Economy.

The accessory must fit under the seat in front, except for passengers seated in emergency exit rows, where it should be stored in the overhead compartment.

Checked Baggage Allowance

RAM's checked baggage allowances vary based on route, travel class, and Safar Flyer loyalty status.

General Guidelines:

  • Weight Limit: Each piece should not exceed 23 kg in Economy and 32 kg in Business Class.

  • Dimensions: The sum of length, width, and height must not exceed 203 cm.

Allowance by Route and Class:

  • Europe-Morocco:

    • Economy: No baggage for "Eco Essential" fare; otherwise, 1 piece up to 23 kg.

    • Business: 2 pieces, each up to 23 kg.

    • Safar Flyer Silver/Gold/Ambassador: Additional 1 piece up to 23 kg.

  • USA/Canada/Africa/Middle East:

    • Economy: 2 pieces, each up to 23 kg.

    • Business: 3 pieces, each up to 32 kg.

    • Safar Flyer Silver/Gold/Ambassador: Additional 1 piece up to 32 kg (23 kg if Economy class)

    • Brazil:

    • Economy & Business: 2 pieces, each up to 32 kg.

    • Safar Flyer Silver/Gold/Ambassador: Additional 1 piece up to 32 kg.

  • Africa/Middle East to/from Morocco: 120€ / 1150 MAD 

  • Note: Specific routes and peak periods may have restrictions on the number of additional pieces allowed.

RAM accommodates various sports equipment, subject to fees based on weight, size, and destination.

Fee Structure:

  • Up to 23 kg / 158 cm:

    • Domestic: 580 MAD

    • Europe-Morocco: 640 MAD / 70€

    • Africa/Middle East: 1730 MAD / 180€ / 180 USD / 150 CAD

  • Up to 32 kg / 203 cm:

    • Domestic: 810 MAD

    • Europe-Morocco: 1150 MAD / 120€

    • Africa/Middle East: 2300 MAD / 230€ / 230 USD / 230 CAD

    • Up to 32 kg / 300 cm:

    • Domestic: 1150 MAD

    • Europe-Morocco: 1730 MAD / 180€

    • Africa/Middle East: 3450 MAD / 350€ / 350 USD / 350 CAD

Note: Certain sports equipment like golf bags (up to 23 kg), surf kits (up to 220 x 40 x 40 cm), and fishing sets (not exceeding 300 cm) may be transported free of charge.

Prohibited and Restricted Items

For safety and compliance, RAM restricts certain items:

  • Prohibited in Cabin and Hold:

    • Cooking oil

    • Exposed television sets without solid packaging

  • Special Conditions:

    • Bicycles: Accepted in checked baggage with pedals removed or secured; tyres may remain inflated.

    • Petrol Engines: Accepted if the fuel system is completely dry.

Note: Passengers are advised to carry valuables, medications, and essential documents in their cabin baggage.
