Dr. Thalavai Sundarram is dedicated to advancing the science and art of Endocrine Surgery. He provides a holistic approach to the management of thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and pancreatic endocrine tumors through both medical and surgical treatments. His expertise includes minimal-access, remote-access, and scarless cosmetic procedures, such as robotic and keyhole surgeries.
Recognized as a leading endocrinologist in Chennai, he is among the few surgeons in India performing exclusive, high-volume robotic thyroid surgeries. He is also the first Endocrine Surgeon proctor in the country, training surgeons across India in robotic thyroid and parathyroid procedures using the Da Vinci Robotic System, an internationally acclaimed platform used for over three decades.
